Killing You With Crayons

Here are 5 different colorings of a slightly disturbed child, but these don't look too far from some of the stuff I drew when I was 8 and mystified by FIRE!!!

First is innocent Hello Kitty...

Incredible Hulk coloring book

My Little Pony coloring book abuse...

More insightful thoughts in this coloring book

Lastly...a little more Hello Kitty!

Let this be a lesson to not let your brother get a hold of their little sisters coloring book!

  1. Seems like a typical 8 year old boy to me...

watching too many violent movies and playing mature video games. this is becoming the norm!

  2. These kids are getting way too much TV violence...just look at the normal station line-up, horrible!

  3. I don't think you got all of Carlin's Deadly Words...but close!

  4. Well, I want a t-shirt with these on it...

  5. Video games don't make kids evil. Bad parenting does.

  6. if anyone thinks a child (not an internet retard with no creativity) did these then they are a gullible fool, fake as hell.

  7. The scariest thing about this post is not the pictures it is the first comment regarding tv and video game violence... neither of these are a substitute for parenting which by that response i believe that this person may believe they are. Also ponder this when children didnt have video games they played cops and robber or pirates or GI Joe or any other number of violent games. If you want to blame entertainment perhaps you should reevaluate who has let this child get these violent video games. Don blame and entertainment industry for failed Parenting, Please dont be so stupid on the internet where the whole world can read your post.

  8. when have you known an 8 yr old to stay in the lines of a coloring book and go all in one direction? check your source... These are none the less entertaining

  9. Oh Please, little boys have been obsessed with fire, blood and bombs since the dawn of time.

Now we pay more attention to it, so they get more attention from it. Duh.

  10. just look at where it says "death time", the word death is identical in both places, which means it has been digitally copied. 8yo's dont know how to do that
    ReplyDelete
  11. First off, if you actually believe that these were actually done by a little kid your gullible. Second, video games and movies have nothing to do with kids actually acting violent, parenting does.

  12. Yeah I agree, these obviously were not done by a child. This is the kind of humor many teens and young adults use - power balad- do you really think an eight year old knows what that is? Plus, most eight year old boys can barley color in the lines, and have absolutly no interest in coloring books, dont you think eight is kind of old for coloring pracitse? All of the mouths have been re-drawn in an anime style and eyebrow lines are always precisely placed, an eight year old does not have the capacity to draw such precise facial features, so even if the drawings are immature and unorriginal, the artist had a little more than basic skill... ( I major in visual art, if you are wondering how I would know)

Parents, if you fell for this it is your ignorance that makes your children misbehave. Not the T.V and not Videogames.

  13. its obviously fake. yeah right an 8 year old drew these. the drawing is too good..and since when do 8 year olds know about emo people and power ballads?
    ReplyDelete
  14. First off, who ever said these were drawn by an 8 yr old? He simply says that this isnt too different than his drawings at 8.

Second, Anonymous #8, who says that the Death Time was digitally copied, well, it doesn't look that way to me. Sure I do agree it is identical...but you will also see that it is from the previous Hello Kitty drawing that says death time. It also appears under the Incredible Sulk drawing as well.

Third, these are awesomely comical bastardizations of children's coloring books, whoever did 'em, I think we can all agree that the colorer(?) is very creative.
    ReplyDelete
  15. maybe some of those were drawn by children, but most of the kids i talk to don't know the meaning of the word sulk... or how it might apply to the super emo stereotype portrayed in the picture of the incredible hulk. funny? maybe. i like the one of the monkey with a bomb.
    ReplyDelete
  16. Well, since nobody else posted them... Carlin's words were:

Shit Piss Fuck Cunt Cocksucker Motherfucker and Tits [Fart Turd and Twat were added later on]

    T-shirt Design:

    shitpissfuckcuntcocksuckermotherfucker
    TITS

  17. this looks photoshopped.

i can tell by the pixels, and from seeing quite a few shops in my time.
    ReplyDelete
  18. Very clever on many of these drawings.

And no, they aren't drawn by a child--the Incredible Sulk image is a Something*Positive reference.

  19. The scariest thing about this post is how seriously some of these comment authors are taking something that was meant to illicit a chuckle...

point of clarification: nowhere does it say that the artist is 8 years old (the author simply compared the disturbing nature of these "reinterpretations" to pictures s/he used to draw when s/he was 8).
    ReplyDelete
  20. i doubt some of these were drawn by a child, still funny though.
    ReplyDelete
  21. Hey...all yu peple. I drawed these bitchhes!
    ReplyDelete
  22. See you're all dumb 8 year old billy did draw the pictures he just said so.

Also these would make sweet shirts I'd want the power ballad hulk one and the first hello kitty one.
    ReplyDelete
  23. I enjoy My Little Pirate. I don't care if it was made by an 8 year old or a bored teenager or a homeless old man, it's funny and I want it on a t-shirt. :P
    ReplyDelete
  24. There's no way these were colored by a "child". More like an angsty 15 year old who shops at Hot Topic... just sayin'.
    ReplyDelete
  25. Are the first few comments serious?

Clearly these were coloured by older teens or bored 20 year olds. No young kid can write that well, not colour that well or have a concept /that/ dark.
    ReplyDelete
  26. looks like the sad doodles of a lonely 30 year old man. pretty goddamn sad that someone wouuld say a little girl would do that. its pretty obvious that this person was wayyyy older
    ReplyDelete
  27. There is no way a child drew these. The handwriting is way too neat anyway, I have pretty good handwriting now but it was AWFUL when I was a kid. The coloring and ideas behind it are too sophisticated, as well as expressions and things such as "a la Doom!" No child knows what a la mode means...

I appreciate the humorous juxtaposition of the happy, innocent characters with the macabre colorings, but to go so far as to claim these are "colorings of a slightly disturbed child" is just ridiculous. A slightly disturbed adult is more like it.

  28. I ordered my shirt... thanks Daily acid dude!! And just in time for my secret santa
    ReplyDelete
  29. The sad thing about ALL these posts is that they were obviously colored by an adult. Look at the bomb in the monkey picture.. do you think an 8-year child would be able to draw something anywhere near that well?
    ReplyDelete
  30. I think anyone that thinks this is done by an 8 year old is an IDIOT let me say it again so those that are stupid can actually understand anyone that thinks this is done by an 8 year old is an IDIOT. these are done by adults and how the heck are they photo shopped. Oh and look at the death time the picture was just placed under the other picture and then coppied DUH! God how old are some of these people posting they are some of the stupidest people on this earth. Please save our planet and get your self fixed so there isn't anymore of you!!!
    ReplyDelete
  31. The sad thing about these posts is that there all people saying that it wasn't drawn by a 8 year old. We get it.. of course they weren't so does there really need to be 20 comments of people saying it wasn't. The people saying it was drawn by a 8 year old were probably trolling. (sorry had to flip things abit the comments were getting annoying)

and OH SWEET shirts! time to get mine.
    ReplyDelete
  32. They look quite creative to me.

If I was a parent, I would ask the child why they choose to draw this. If the answer sounded age-appropriate I don't think there's anything to worry about.
    ReplyDelete
  33. -sigh- Someone has no life..
Plays way too much video games..
Dude go find a job or something..
    ReplyDelete
  34. i was a "disturbed" child, and these types of drawings are rather standard atleast speaking from my own experince luckily with medication and help ( though mostly through my own determination) from profesionals i managed to stear clear of any of cliched downfalls of mental illness.

as most disturbed children are if anything highly functioning and depending on varients more than capable of staying in the lines.

at a younger age i depicted rather gruesome drawings which where done with some talent.

they may be fake or not but there is a chance that they may not be.
    ReplyDelete
  35. An 8 year old absolutely did NOT make these.
    ReplyDelete
  36. this is absolute bull, there is no way an 8yd old drew any of these.
They are funny yes but deffo NOT drawn/coloured by kids
    ReplyDelete
  37. "Here are 5 different colorings of a slightly disturbed child"

seems like a pretty straight-forward (and wrong) claim to me.

  38. These were done by a woman in her early twenties. They also have been circulating the internet since about July!

  39. hahaha these are awesome~
    ReplyDelete
  40. These were done by a friend of mine who is 20 years old. She did NOT give this person permission to post the pictures here, so kindly take them down!
    ReplyDelete
  41. Come on guys. It's obvious this wasn't done by a child. It's funny however, that these were posted on an LJ community around 6 months ago. A member of that community CREATED these crayon destroyed images. They are HILARIOUS. Now, get your panties out of a wad, everyone.

  42. This comment has been removed by the author.
    ReplyDelete
  43. I think it's funny that you guys think that they were photo shopped. Maybe it says "death" the same way both times because it was written by the same person twice.
    ReplyDelete
  44. Ok, I know the person who created those pictures. She doesn't really care that you posted the images (which were spawned out of complete boredom), just that you're trying to make some money selling HER art. I highly suggest you close the shop.
    ReplyDelete
  45. Funny, but OBVIOUSLY fake... I acknowledge the comment several jumps ahead of me that there is absolutely no 8 year old boy who would color in one direction, I only started doing that when I was 12! If there was no pinting at 8 year old children this would have been very amusing... Still, good job I guess.
    ReplyDelete
  46. Who gives a shit who fuckin drew them or why? They're funny, the end, stfu.
    ReplyDelete
  47. Okay we get it. An eight year didn't draw these. Doesn't matter. You guys should not care that much about it. No one cares if you're all smarty pants and shit. Seriously. You guys obviously don't know how annoying your comments are. Just sayin.
    ReplyDelete
  48. fake. and stupid.
    ReplyDelete
  49. 'Tis like a great homicidal comic character created by Jhonen Vasque said; "Any pile of stunted growth unaware that entertainment is just that and nothing more, deserves to doom themselves to some dank cell, somewhere, for having been so stupid!! Movies, books, T.V, music-they're all just entertainment, not guidebooks for damning yourself!"

    Ah, I love Nny. <3
    ReplyDelete
  50. The only thing funnier than the pictures (which are damn funny) are the comments. Classic. Thanks innerwebs!
    ReplyDelete
  51. Uhh Anyone who says an 8 yr old couldnt do this is fucking retarded and when i was 8 i cold draw anime and knew power ballads then too, so to say an 8 yr old cant do it is just idiotic. And a message to Anonymous #10 even if youre a major in art that dont mean you know everyones drawing capabilities at age 8 is the same..ever heard of prodigies? ever heard of psychotic Charles Manson prodigies? It's possible.. and even if it is fake it took thought and creativity so give some god damn credit Christ
    ReplyDelete
  52. These are pretty detailed...this person obviously has talent
    ReplyDelete
  53. the Death time is identicle because its the same. look at the rug above it. BTW i dont care who drew it or whos a bad parent, but this shits great. i want more!
