
It mainly was a matter of circumstance that their paths never crossed and had nothing to do with foreign policy. The Queen would've met LBJ if she had attended JFK's funeral, but she was pregnant at the time and didn't make the trip. This birth (Edward) in 1964 kept her from visiting the US, actually she didn't visit between 1957 and 1976.
